Support for modern information technologies in the Czech Republic
Our aim is to raise awareness of the importance of the introduction and use of modern information technologies in society, including the creation of optimal conditions for the development of public electronic communications networks in the Czech Republic as a prerequisite for the creation of an information society.
ICTU defines, represents, supports, and promotes the legitimate and common interests of its members with the aim of creating an appropriate business environment that will lead to the long-term development of the information society, while respecting ethical principles of business.
Throughout its existence, ICTU has carried out many interesting projects, organized a large number of social, discussion and working events, published strategic documents and plethora of opinions and comments on legislation drafting.

Our goal is to make a significant contribution to the development of the Czech economy so that the Czech Republic becomes a leader in competitiveness, building an innovative and knowledge-based society.
Transparency
The development of public electronic communications networks is based on open competition. Therefore, ICTU's specific objective is to promote and protect a fair and open electronic communications market in the Czech Republic.
Professionalism
We co-author proposals for major reforms, legislation and key decisions aimed at the development of ICT in the Czech Republic. ICTU is a partner of state regulatory institutions.
Efficiency
We are a pragmatic and efficient association. In other words, our proposals must be realistic, practical, and useful for more than just the ICT sector.
